Lighthouse-Kodi Kundapura


 We can see many unique features on the shores of the Arabian Sea, one of which is the lighthouse near Kodi Sea near Kundapur, which has been there for many years and has been appreciated by tourists.It is in the evening when lights are installed on top of the lamppost to show the way to the ships in the sea. This lighthouse is red and white in colour many people come to see the lighthouse and climb on top of it and see the surrounding area.This lamphouse is very close to Kundapur it is one of the tourist destinations in south Karnataka which are left only in the evening to enter the lampstand and can stay only till a certain time and have to pay a fee to enter this lampstand people who come to see this lampstand can also visit many more tourist spots and also visit the famous temples Anegudde Vinayaka Temple and the Chakreshwari Temple near the lamppost.

The steps inside the lampstand are constructed in a circle which is a picture taken from inside the lighthouse.

 Kavaledurga Fort Kavaledurga is a beautiful place with lush greenery in Theerthahalli taluk. Kavaledurga is located at a distance of 18 km from Theerthahalli and about 80 km from Shivamogga.
