Murudeshwara Temple is a temple in Bhatkal taluk which is situated on the highway from Mangalore to Karwar This temple is situated on the western ghats and arabian
seashore the most beautiful statue can be seen in the Murudeshwara temple and there is a sea next to it this temple is visited by many tourists from the state and countries on a daily basis.


Murudeshwara temple is full of many sculptural works and has sculptures Temple is 237 feet tall and is the second tallest tower in India and from the outside one can see the huge statue shining high against the backdrop of the blue sky.


Here we can see a 123-feet tall statue of Lord Shiva and the idol of Nandi in front of the idol of Shiva. It can be said that it is a wonderful idol. When you see Lord Shiva doing penance, you feel like there are many other places close to the Murudeshwara sea from where Jog Falls becomes 90 km and Maravanthe Beach becomes 55 km Murudeshwara is 49 km from Bangalore and 155 km from Mangalore and there are many hotels where tourists can relax.
